We are an owner-operated consulting firm located in York, PA.� We believe that strong communication is the backbone of, well, everything.� The written word is a dying art, but we seek to bring about its renaissance.� We serve our clients with sound strategies, solid communication and just plain good business sense.

Hieroglyph Communications exists because Kristi Myers decided to strike out on her own after years in the nonprofit development and communications field.� Kristi, a graduate of York College of Pennsylvania, spent seven years supporting social service agencies through fund raising, program development, public relations and just about anything involving putting words and ideas to paper.� Her bag of tricks includes grant writing, public policy development and legislative analysis, program design and management, agency communications (newsletters, press releases, advertisements, web site copy � you name it) and agency strategic planning.� One day, Kristi realized that life is more fun when you strike out on your own in search of new challenges.� (In this case, by working with many different kinds of organizations.)

Over the two years, Kristi has honed her skills by handling PR for a music promotion company, planning and implementing a funds development strategy for a local community center and helping a nonprofit disability organization put together its Annual Appeal and community fundraiser.� An alumnus of several Boards and volunteer coalitions in York, Kristi remains a dedicated volunteer, with a 15-year history of service in the nonprofit community.
